Pastor Enoch Adeboye has exonerated Nigeria’s leaders from the numerous problems facing the country.
In a press statement, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God who in 2014 was viciously critical of the then Nigeria’s leadership and also led protest against bad leadership, appear to have changed his stance. He declared that Nigeria’s leadership challenges are beyond political solutions.
According to pastor Adeboye, the current Nigeria’s leaders are “trying their best” but Nigeria’s challenges have spiritual undertone which only can be remedied by spiritual means.
Pastor Adeboye’s claim of Nigeria’s problems not being political or as a result of bad governance, comes a few weeks after a ten-day national protest against hunger and bad governance across states of the Nigeria’s federation.
The current Nigeria’s leadership led by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been accused of unleashing questionable economic policies that have inflicted the Nigeria’s populace with penury and driven away investors while local business suffer retrogression.
The Tinubu administration is also accused of being unsympathetic to the plight of Nigerians especially as his administration has refused to cut down cost of governance.
