Comforting the childless women in the virtual meeting, Betsy Obaseki enjoined them not to be aggrieved over their inability to have their own children who would be evidence of the pain they had been through.

She encouraged them to be optimistic and positive as they would have their children at the time appointed by God.

“My words of comfort to you, like myself, who have conceived and experienced miscarriages, painful stillbirths, and evacuations of babies, who died in our wombs and as a result, have no children to show for the pain we have endured”, she said

The wife of the Edo State governor further stated that her responsibility to the society exceeds being just a mother to children. According to her, women can fulfill God’s purpose for them aside bearing children.
