Popular lawyer and advocate for good governance, Adeyanju Deji has reacted to report that his client, Martins Vincent Otse widely known as Verydarkman, had his NGO website hacked and one hundred and sixty million stolen from the website by the hackers.

In his response to the controversy that trailed the report of the missing money, Adeyanju Deji through his Facebook page, stated that he will not criticize nor condemn genuine efforts by Nigerians towards positive political or social change in the country.

He pointed out that Verydarkman as well as Omoloye Sowore is dedicated to seeking improved social and political welfare of Nigerians; hence, the reason he has high regards to them.

He wrote: “You can never find me discrediting others doing their best to see things change in Nigeria except if they’re politicians because I do not have messiah complex. Some folks feel if it’s not them doing it, then every other person is a fraud. This is why I will always appreciate VDM, SOWORE, etc. Everyone doing their best for the nation whether you are supporting a social justice cause, freedom of speech, assemble, freedom of the press, electoral reforms, etc; I appreciate you. The only people I won’t appreciate are those one painting Naija politicians as saints”.

Adeyanju Deji identified with Verydarkman when he was sued over alleged defamation by Femi Falana. He represented Verydarkman in the Lagos state High Court where the suit was filed. Thereafter, Adeyanju Deji appears to have joined in Verydarkman course for social justice.
