Former governor Nyesom Wike has threatened to ignite political crises in the states of the PDP governors supporting Sim Fubara.
The FCT minister in his usual gladiatorial mien warned members of the PDP governors forum who have promised to hand over the PDP structure in Rivers state to Sim Fubara.
Speaking to some PDP delegates in Rivers state, Wike restated his stance on remaining in the PDP and having absolute control over the party structure in Rivers state. He appealed to the PDP governors meddling in the Rivers State crisis to desist from doing so as he has the capability to ignite crisis in their states including ensuring that the governors would not sleep in their states due to political crisis.
He reiterated that nobody is capable of taking the PDP structure in Rivers state from him.
Nyesom Wike further insinuated that his successor, Sim Fubara is currently making plans to leave the PDP for APP ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Recall that the PDP governors forum had converged in Enugu state and Taraba state during which they declared their full support for governor Sim Fubara amid his political feud with Nyesom Wike.
