Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has revealed the implication of the ministerial appointment to the widow of Biafra warlord, Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu on the Nigerian nation.
Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu was nominated for the minister of state for foreign affair in president Tinubu’s long anticipated cabinet reshuffle. Bianca Ojukwu was a surprising name among the seven new minister-nominees.
Reacting to her appointment, Reno Omokri described her nomination as putting a round org in a round hole. He noted that the expertise of Bianca in foreign relations will be of immense benefits to the country currently grappling with decades of secessionist agitations.
“Congratulations, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu. President Tinubu has put a round org in a round hole. You are a specimen of the class and breeding required to take Nigeria’s foreign relations to the next level. As I always tell you when we see, you are an epitome of beauty and an example of duty to your country. I have no doubt that you will excel in your new position. My family and I wish you the best as you begin this new phase in your journey towards greatness”, Mr. Reno Omokri wrote.
However, different reactions have trailed Bianca’s recent ministerial nomination. She had served as Nigeria’s ambassador to Ghana and Spain during the Obasanjo’s administration.
Her recent ministerial appointment has been linked by some to political calculations as president Tinubu aims to politically and strategically position himself for reelection in 2027. Hence, many suspect that Bianca Ojukwu’s introduction into the Tinubu’s cabinet is to strategically weaken Peter Obi’s political fortress which is the Southeast of the federation.
Some also argue that Bianca Ojukwu who is very loved and respected among the Igbos, emerged minister nominee for foreign relations due to the undying agitation for the restoration of Biafra in the Southeast.
There are some school of tort which claim that she has been assigned to douse the fast beating hearts of the Biafra seeking Igbos. Also, would ensure by her position that Finish based Biafra nation activist, Simon Ekpa is brought to book.
Furthermore, Bianca Ojukwu would also mediate between the Tinubu’s administration and founder of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who has been in the custody of the Nigeria’s secret police since his rendition in Kenya in 2021.
