Controversial pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Leke Adeboye has sent a subtle warning to the devotes of virtual prayer by pastor Jerry Eze of the NSPPD and that of pastor Bolaji.
The controversial pastor of the Redeemed church argues that women who are devoted to the online prayers usually in early mornings and evenings do so at the expense of their husbands and relatives. According to him, these early mornings and evenings prayers have deprived the said women time to care for their husbands and relatives.
He thereafter enjoined them to be mindful of the devotion to such virtual prayers necessary for their prayers and worship not to be in vain
“Good morning to all the women who are doing night and early morning prayers with Pastors Jerry/Bolaji but not speaking with their husbands, fathers, and even their fellow sisters. Happy Congress, Happy Shiloh, and Happy Experience 2024 to you all in Jesus’ name. May we not all pray and worship in vain,” he wrote.
However, his remark has attracted varying dissenting opinions as some accuse him of being jealous of the virtual prayers especially its increasing global popularity.
Some also taunted him by saying that he is riding on his father’s glory and has not been able to prove his ministry as pastor Jerry Eze and pastor Bolaji have done.
