Popular Nigerian skit maker and content creator, Debo Adedayo, known as Mr. Macaroni, has taken to his socials to share a heartfelt message about overcoming a burden he says he has born for years.
The comedian posted a picture of himself on his Instagram account and wrote the caption, “I feel better than I have felt in over 3 years! I have peace of mind. I feel free! I have been carrying a heavy burden for about 3 years now. It tested me beyond limits and weighed me down. But I never stopped fighting.”
Further motivating himself, the content creator utilized the same opportunity to motivate others going through any difficult situation. He encouraged them to persevere through the hard times while bearing in mind that although the journey is tough, victory is assured. He wrote: “I am writing this letter of love to any one of you going through a hard time right now. You might have to make some tough decisions like I have done but please understand that your troubles will not last forever.
The road will be rough but you will be victorious at the end.
Don’t stop fighting!!!”
Without specifically disclosing what had burdened him for three years, Mr. Macaroni mentioned that the burden tested his limit, but he is glad that he is victorious.
This is not the first time the comedian has made a post referring to challenges that have pushed him to his limit. On December 31st, 2024, the comedian made a similar post on his Facebook page, asserting his challenge and his victory. “Dec 31- 2024 tested me beyond the limit, But Mercy said NO! Maybe one day, I will share the story…”
Meanwhile, Mr. Macaroni is not just a skit maker and comedian, he is also an activist. The comedian was very vocal and visible during the Nigerian youths’ #ENDSARS protest of 2020. In 2021, when the youth agreed to gather at the Lekki Tollgate and commemorate the fallen heroes of 2020 protest, he was arrested, beaten, and tortured by the Nigerian Police.
