Former governor Nasir El-Rufai has continued to take subtle dig at the Nigeria’s leadership amid his ongoing corruption investigation by the Kaduna State Assembly.
The former governor has described recent move by the Tinubu lead federal government to privatized some federal government agency as “needless”.
El-Rufai through his Twitter handle, summed up how the government of the federation fared in the month of August. He insinuated that the Tinubu administration is running on propaganda and falsehood which will not stand the test of time.
El-Rufai further sympathized with the Nigerian masses over the increasing economic hardship that has bedeviled Nigerians due to some questionable economic policies of the president Tinubu’s administration. According to him, God will reward Nigerians with long life and forbearance to witness competent and good leadership.
In his words: “even if they may look alike, there are differences between a donkey and a horse. When you were created to beast of burden, you will never be thing of beauty and pride, only pretend to be.
“Falsehood appears to be truth for only some moments. The truth is eternally permanent.
“May Allah give our people patience and longevity to separate the donkeys from the horses in public life, and be witnesses to the end of falsehood, failure and needless privation in our nation. Amen”.
