Co-owner of Manchester United FC Sir Jim Ratcliffe has responded to speculations about the club’s management considering sacking coach Erik Ten Hag following the club’s recent poor outings across four matches.

When asked by a BBC interviewer whether or not Erik Ten Hag will be sacked as being speculated, Jim Ratcliffe in his response, revealed that he personally believes that Erik Ten Hag is a good coach and that he likes him. He thereafter stated that his future at Manchester United can not be decided by him. According to Jim Ratcliffe, only the Manchester United FC management can decide Erik Ten Hag future at the club.
“I don’t want to answer that question. I like Erik. I think he’s a very good coach but at the end of the day it’s not my call, it’s the management team that’s running Manchester United that have to decide how we best run the team in many different respects”, he said
