WWE 16 time heavy weight champion and Hollywood actor, John Cena has explained why he will not have children now or in the future.
The actor while speaking during an interview responded to the interviewer, Shannon Sharpe’s question on whether or not he desires to have “a little Johnny or Joanna” , declared that he does not harbour such an interest.
The 47 year old actor explained that in as much as he finds children fascinating, he does not have the conviction to take up such a responsibility of making children and parenting them.
John Cena admitted that basically humans are created to procreate but that he chooses to focus on himself, his life and his career more than any other thing such as parenting.
Despite describing having children as “great” and expectation from everyone, Cena declared that he lacks the needed commitment to be a good parent; hence, concludes not to have them now or in future.
” I try to approach the world with kindness and curiosity, but I don’t think I’m personally ready, nor will I ever be, to invest the time it needs to be a great parent because I want to live life for all it is. And I still have a lot to do. And I still want to do a lot”, Cena is quoted to have said.
John Cena further stated that he is aware of the criticisms that his decision will draw from the public but that he is very convinced about his choice and feels at peace with himself and unperturbed about public opinions.
