The founder of the Adoration Ministry Enugu, father Ejike Mbaka has revealed his encounter with Biafra activist, Simon Ekpa.
Father Mbaka while appealing to his congregants to pray for the immediate release of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra( IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, revealed that he had objected to weekly sit-at-home across the five southeast states of the Nigeria’s federation.
According to him, when he spoke against the sit-at-home exercise especially its economic impact on the people of the southeast region, he was accosted by Simon Ekpa who enjoined him never to interfere by discouraging people from observing the sit-at-home. He explained that when he reviewed the reason for the sit-at-home as well as thought over Simon Ekpa’s words to him, he thereafter agreed with him.
Father Mbaka while speaking further, noted that the continual detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is the reason for the sit-at-home; hence, Nnamdi Kanu’s release from the DDS custody will restore peace and freedom in the distressed southeast states of Nigeria.
