Controversial lawyer and president Bola Ahmed Tinubu supporter, Daniel Bwala accuses the minister of state for defence and service chiefs of embarrassing president Bola Ahmed Tinubu during their visit to Sokoto yesterday.

Bello Matawalle alongside with Chief of staff, General CG Musa; Chief of Defence Intelligence, Major General Emmanuel Undiandeye; and the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 8 Division, Brigadier General IA Ajose visited Sokoto 8 Division of Nigeria Army Headquarters to charge the soldiers currently battling bandits and terrorists in the region.

Daniel Bwala in his reaction to the high level visit, accuses Bello Matawalle and the service chiefs of embarrassing president Tinubu by the manner they dressed.

According to Bwala, the minister of state for Defence should not have worn the military uniform as he did. He said Bello Matawalle is only a civilian and shouldn’t have worn the military attire.

Bwala argues further that the Nigeria’s president is the only civilian permitted to wear the military attire as the Commander in chief of the armed forces.

In his words: ” There is absolutely no reason or sense in Mutawali wearing a military uniform as seen in this picture. This fight against insecurity is not a joke. Only the president who is a commander in chief of the armed forces can wear a military uniform as a civilian. Both the minister and army chiefs should Stop embarrassing the C-in-C“.
