Comedienne Real Warri Pikin narrates how she attempted suicide

Prominent Nigerian comedienne, Anita Afoke Asuoha who is widely known as Real Warri Pikin has appealed to those contemplating suic!de to desist from doing so.

The comedienne through her social media account while commemorating world suicide prevention day, described suicide as an act of taking a permanent decision over a temporary problem.

She narrated how she almost took her own life in 2018 after her husband ran into twenty million naira debt. She said motivational speakers had spurred her husband into overzealously investing outrageously in elephant ventures which thereafter failed and indebted him.

She said life became so difficult for her and her husband that she thought that there was no way out of their life troubles and considered suicide an alternative.

“I tried suicide so you don’t have to, in 2018 June 6, 3pm to be precise I attempted suicide, I gave up on life because the burden was too much”, she said.

Real Warri Pikin disclosed further that a certain woman whose name is Irene C. Anaenye whom she met at an Abuja hospital is whom God used in saving her life.

“Area! Meet Irene C. Anaenye, the woman God used to save my life on June 6, 2018, at Garki Hospital.”
