Governor Zulum

An unnamed son of the governor of Borno state, Babagana Umara Zulum in the northeastern Nigeria’s federation reportedly m3rdered an Indian man at a nigh club in India.

An investigative Nigerian journalist with the X handle @PIDOMNIGERIA claims that the unnamed son of the Borno state governor went into a brawl with the deceased at a night club in India. According to him, the cause of the fight is a woman whom governor Zulum’s son fancies.

PIDOMNIGERIA further claims that the son of the governor is currently in detention while his father, the governor of Borno strives to ensure his release from detention in the Asian country.  The governor is said to have approached the family of the deceased with some monetary compensation for their loss but the family of the deceased are unyielding to the governor’s offers and insist that the suspect faces the law.

The report has been trailed by varying critical reactions from Nigerians who lament over the unruliness of those in power as well as the members of their families who assume being placed above the law.

Popular social commentator with X handle @novieverest wrote: “If it were in Nigeria, it wouldn’t even get out because the life of anyone who isn’t a family member is not valued”.

@Debest101 also responded this: ” There will never be way for them if na Nigeria trust me only his influence is enough to release his son, that’s a working nation let them have a taste of it adios ✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼”

PIDOMNIGERIA is also trending across the Nigerian social media space for its latest allegation against a high-placed first-class traditional ruler in Yoruba ethnicity who is accused of defrauding an American based Nigerian doctor of thousands of dollars through unreal investment contracts.
