In an unexpected twist, former Niger Delta Militants’ leader, Asari Dokubo has warned president Bola Ahmed Tinubu over governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State.

Asari Dokubo who despite championing president Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential campaign, revealed in his recent social media broadcast that he has chosen to side with governor Sim Fubara over president Bola Ahmed whom he referred to as his friend.

Asari Dokubo described governor Fubara as his fellow Ijaw man and vowed to defend him and the Ijaw people against former governor Nyesom Wike’s onslaught.

He urged president Tinubu to show some respect to him even as an Ijaw man. He warned both president Tinubu and Wike over Fubara. According to him, ” Fubara is a no go area”.

Asari Dokubo thereafter accuses Wike of “cornering” Rivers State treasury during his governorship administration. He alleged that Wike uses his stolen funds to buy the loyalty of politicians who flock around him for monetary gains.
